Construction Project Engineer II

Job Description

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a talented Construction Project Engineer II to join our dedicated team at our office located in Emeryville, California .

In this role, you will provide technical, administrative, and subcontractor management support to Project Managers and Project Directors.

Additional Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and maintenance of execution plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and communication among project stakeholders.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes.
• Participate in safety planning and quality assurance, including shop drawing reviews and design compliance.
• Track project costs, invoice preparation, and reporting.
• Maintain project documentation systems and assist with closeout deliverables and turnover packages.
• Contribute to marketing materials, proposals, and ongoing team coordination across departments.

The salary offered for this role is between $87,350 and $133,000, but the actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set, and education.
