Job Description Job Description Our client, a fast-growing manufacturing company specializing in custom, engineered-to-order products, is looking for an experienced Controller to manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, managing financial transactions, and providing financial advice to the senior management team. The Controller will also be responsible for managing the accounting team, creating and implementing financial policies and procedures, and developing financial reports for the company. Key Responsibilities & Duties : Support the continued growth of the company and be a key member of our management team Provide financial advice to the senior management team to inform decision-making Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, with a focus on cost control and reduction Job costing and profitability, including implementation of the processes to support accurate actual to estimate reporting and analysis Prepare and present financial reports to the senior management team Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures supporting the growth of the company and expanding our cost accounting function Manage the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, ensuring accurate and timely recording of costs and revenues Manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, with a focus on cost accounting for our custom, engineered-to-order products Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as external auditor, tax profession and banks Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company has adequate liquidity Manage the company's budgeting process and monitor actual results against budget An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
