[job_card.job_description]At least seven years of warehouse management experience required Demonstrated success in operations and people leadership Experience managing budget and P&L Strong aptitude to think critically, solve problems and drive improvements in a professional and respectful manner Strong knowledge of production and inventory control theories and practices Functional knowledge and expertise in distribution center operations, inbound / outbound logistics and warehousing Experience with P&L Demonstrated experience and success in delivering on KPIs Knowledge of and ability to drive compliance to safety standards, quality specifications and governmental requirements Exceptional organization, attention to detail and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint; experience with RF Warehouse Management Systems Responsible for managing all aspects of the DC's financial, operational, people, process and service objectives to drive results and alignment to long range plan Interact with business partners to drive results and deliver solutions including Supply Chain, Stores, Merchandising, Finance, Human Resources and Loss Prevention Manage all DC equipment and facilities maintenance programs Drive innovation and process improvement in all areas of DC operations aligned to the organization's long range plan Responsible for managing DC safety initiatives and programs and upholding safety standards Other duties as assigned and valued by executive leadership Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, as needed Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior

This individual is responsible for executing safe and effective operations that meet the needs of the organization and its employees. The GM will lead a workforce of 500 team members distributing goods to Academy stores in various locations.
