Fire Sprinkler Foreman

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour

Guardian South Inc. is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field crews in the installation and service of commercial fire sprinkler systems. This is an in-person, hands-on leadership role for someone who values quality work, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Oversee service and tenant improvement projects for existing facilities.
• Cut, thread, and groove pipe to specifications using tools like saws and pipe threaders.
• Coordinate with customers and various contractors to resolve field conflicts.
• Manage job scheduling and project progression efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Maintain high-quality standards and ensure job site safety.
• Provide support and guidance to other field installers and helpers.
• Keep updated with industry knowledge and OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in fire sprinkler system installation and service.
• MUST have a current CalFire Commercial Sprinkler Fitter license.
• Working knowledge of wet, dry, and pre-action systems, as well as backflow and fire pumps.
• Proficient in NFPA 13, 20, 24, and 25 code requirements.
• Competent in using trade-appropriate tools for daily pipe fitting duties and ability to read fire system design drawings.
• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Certified in backflow inspection and repair (preferred).
