We are seeking a candidate with :

  • Eight years of experience in a development team environment managing operational systems with technical staff, users, and customers.
  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting system interfaces and integration processes related to proxy, application, database, and active directory domain servers.
  • Experience in change management practices, using MS Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio CVS tools.
  • Knowledge of statutory law and administrative rules for program codification and maintenance.
  • Experience converting ACCESS to SQL and .NET applications.
  • Experience with online financial transaction systems.
  • Ability to adapt complex, multi-system interface specifications to programming languages and applications.
  • One year of knowledge with IBM Cloud services, including WatsonX and Watson-based chat development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily development and technical support for the WIC data system and interfaces with various systems including IBM Watson and others.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve processing and development issues.
  • Maintain documentation of system performance, maintenance, and work requests.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and evaluate new technologies.
  • Analyze and document requirements for system fixes, modifications, and enhancements.
  • Create and test code for system fixes, modifications, and interfaces.
  • Document system fixes, modifications, and conduct testing including User Acceptance Testing.
  • Produce system documentation for all changes.
