Dermatologist Physician Assistant

Position: Dermatology Physician Assistant
Location: Port St. Lucie, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $120,000+ (commensurate with experience) + bonus structure

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as biopsies and blood work.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for various dermatologic conditions.
• Perform procedures, including biopsies and excisions, as appropriate.
• Educate patients on proper skincare, sun protection, and disease prevention.
• Collaborate closely with dermatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the EMR system.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Active Florida state license as a Physician Assistant.
• Minimum 2 years of dermatology experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in EMR systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform dermatologic procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs as needed.
