Job Synopsis

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's needs and design personalized therapy approaches that help them accomplish their functional objectives.
• Deliver Therapeutic Techniques: Implement evidence-based procedures to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions.
• Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Engage closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic and comprehensive care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers about therapy strategies to enable continued progress beyond the clinic.
• Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment methodologies as necessary to keep patients on track.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education and postgraduate certifications

Licensing and Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
