As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do :

  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting staff and visitors as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior, adapting to the unique environment of a healthcare setting.
  • Observe and report on security-related matters, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
  • Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Remain alert to the unique needs of a healthcare location, including interactions with patients, staff, and visitors, while upholding Allied Universal's standards for professionalism and integrity.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
