A nationally recognized, top-tier commercial contractor with a strong Midwest presence is seeking an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to lead complex, high-profile medical construction projects in the Chicago market. This organization is known for delivering technically demanding healthcare facilities and investing heavily in its leadership team.

Role Overview
The Superintendent will have full field leadership responsibility for ground-up and major renovation healthcare projects, including hospitals, surgical centers, and specialty medical facilities. You will be the on-site authority responsible for safety, quality, schedule, and coordination across all trades.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day field operations on healthcare construction projects
Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and AHJ requirements
Enforce site safety, infection control (ICRA), and quality standards
Maintain and drive project schedules and milestone completion
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineers
Oversee commissioning, closeout, and turnover processes
Healthcare Project Experience
Acute care hospitals
Surgical / procedure suites
Imaging, labs, and critical MEP-intensive spaces
Occupied healthcare renovations preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Approximately $110,000 – $150,000 (DOE)
