JOB TITLE : IT DATA ARCHITECT

ASSIGNMENT LOCATION : RICHARDSON TX OR TULSA OK (NO REMOTE)

LENGTH : 6-MONTH CONTRACT POTENTIAL TO EXTEND 12-18 MONTHS

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Lead for complex projects and solution implementations.
  • Understand and document current state context diagrams current state data flow diagrams.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify data related pain points.
  • Document high level data requirements. Work with teammates to drive out detailed data requirements.
  • Design Target State Data Architecture in alignment with Enterprise Data Strategy Information Security Requirements.
  • Design and Document data models database structures and data integration solutions to support large volumes of data.
  • Oversee data integration processes including ETL / ELT workflows.
  • Optimize databases and data pipelines for efficiency.
  • Lead the implementation of new data platforms and technologies.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to data engineers analysts and other team members.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • 10 years of experience in designing developing and managing large-scale data architectures including data lakes data warehouses and cloud environments
  • Experience designing complex cross-domain data models.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms preferably AWS S3 Iceberg and AWS Services.
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels from new hires to executives.
