Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90, to $, per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliation processes accurately and on time.

• Post cash disbursements to correct general ledger accounts and manage intercompany transactions.

• Maintain petty cash accounts and outstanding check lists for multiple locations.

• Collaborate with AP and accounting teams to ensure proper GL coding and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist the accounting team with month-end close and other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate experience working with large companies and multi-location operations.

• Utilize Blackline for reconciliations and maintain accuracy in high-volume data environments.

• Apply strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience to ensure compliance.

• Exhibit advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.

• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 3+ years of staff accounting experience with exposure to GL, fixed assets, AP, AR, and payroll.

• Show proficiency in Blackline and ERP systems such as Infor Sx, SAGE, or SAP.

• Display strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Maintain professionalism and integrity when handling confidential financial information.
