Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Five (5+) years of experience in the Avionics/Aerospace field, specifically in embedded software development.
• Experience in planning, designing
• Executing verification testing across a range of software products including embedded software, applications, and integrated systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as DO-187C and DO-330 process (or similar safety-critical software development guidelines) is essential, with proficiency in C#, C++, C, and Python preferred.
• Experience with application lifecycle management tools/platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Git or similar tools (DEVOPS experience).
• Experience in all phases of product development (full life cycle) in Software Engineering programs.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
• Experience working with teams across multi-geographical locations and multiple disciplines.
• Use data-driven quantitative analysis, including statistical tools, data modeling, and trend analysis, to inform decision-making. Identify patterns, predict outcomes, and select optimal solutions based on empirical evidence and logical reasoning.
• Understanding of safety-critical systems and verification requirements.
• Experience/knowledge with Agile development.
• Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
