Title: RN Dialysis
Location: Rochester, NY
Contract: 8 Weeks

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual care needs.
• Administer dialysis treatments while monitoring vital signs and patient responses.
• Maintain high standards of care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Perform catheterization procedures as necessary, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, lifestyle adjustments, and ongoing care requirements.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress accurately in medical records.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in dialysis care.

Qualifications

• Shift are Monday - Saturday between 5:30 am - 10:30 pm with rotating weekends. Occasional Sunday due to Holidays.
• Must be able to work primarily 5x8's and a combination of 2x8's and 2x12's when needed depending on department needs.
• Must have Dialysis and Charge Nurse Experience - will be Charge Nurse during shifts.
• Primary location: Unity Hospital Dialysis 1555 Long Pond Rd. Rochester, NY.
• Floating to other locations as needed.
• Facility can call off up to 3 shifts for 13-week contract and 2 shifts less than 13-week contract.
• No schedule available
