REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a registered Patent Agent
• Strong background in biophysics, biomedical engineering, computational biology, bioinformatics, data science or AI / ML (advanced degree preferred).
• Strong proficiency in drafting patent applications and related documentation throughout all phases of the patent prosecution process, including capturing invention disclosures and performing and interpreting prior art searches.
• Experience managing clients as a first point of contact to develop and manage portfolios.
• Excellent academic credentials with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Must be registered to practice with the USPTO; attorney candidates should also be an active member and in good standing of the California state bar.
