Hotel Room Attendant - Full Time

Housekeepers have passion and dedication for creating magic for our Guests during their Walt Disney World Resort stays by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness & outstanding Guest Service! The Housekeeper cleans Guest rooms, including stripping and making beds, cleaning floors, dusting, and replenishing items such as linens and amenities. We also monitor work orders, use technology to respond to Guest requests, and report maintenance needs.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $23.00 per hour.

Basic Qualifications :

• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
• Minimum 1 year of full-service or resorts Housekeeping experience
• Speak and read English to communicate with Guests
• Perform all job responsibilities safely using PPE and within range of motion with appropriate tools
• Prolonged standing and walking to multiple areas of the resort to access and clean rooms, including climbing stairs
• Physical role requiring repetitive heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling
• Full-Time requires full availability for any time-of-day, any day, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Part-Time requires full availability for any shift, THREE (3) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• 2 weeks of FULL availability required for training (regardless of FT or PT)

Additional Information :

If selected for an interview, the primary interview (first interview) will be conducted virtually, and if selected to move forward, a secondary interview will take place in person at the Walt Disney World Resort.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY :

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5 : 00am while some may end as late as 3 : 00am, 4 : 00am or 5 : 00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
