Adjunct instructor: Clinical Nursing, various specialties

Position Summary

Adjunct (part-time) faculty needed to teach in the following nursing clinical areas:

• medical-surgical
• pediatrics
• obstetrics
• psychiatric mental-health
• critical care

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teach nursing clinical courses in your specialty area to BSN students. Generally 12 hour clinicals once per week at various local and regional hospitals. Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Current RN license
• Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university

Preferred Requirements

• Two years’ nursing work experience
• Teaching experience in higher education

Hours/Shift/Work Schedule Based on availability. Depending on the site and unit, clinical may be on a Monday through Sunday during day or evening hours. Physical Requirements of Position Work is performed at clinical sites with some exposure to health or safety hazards.
