This high-level operations position oversees complex, wideranging initiatives and requires a leader with proven experience in lean environments-someone who can turn continuousimprovement concepts into measurable results. In this role, you will guide a team of Supervisors, Engineers, and Technicians dedicated to enhancing safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across Classic and PRO series fabricated parts. On-SiteMonday - Friday8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PMWhat you will do :
- Lead a team of 10-12 supervisors, engineers, and technicians by identifying, prioritizing, and executing initiatives that support key business goals
- Collaborate with functional leaders to ensure the organization has the capabilities and capacity needed to meet fabrication targets established by the BU Leader and Site Leader
- Identify waste within operations, coach others to recognize it, and focus efforts on the activities that create the greatest impact
- Determine and prioritize the factors negatively influencing performance metrics across each area
- Coordinate crossfunctional resources to perform data analysis and uncover root causes
- Guide crossfunctional teams in brainstorming solution options, selecting the highestvalue approach, and driving implementation
- Align business priorities and organize crossfunctional resources to achieve site objectives through initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost
What you will need to be successful :
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Courteous, professional, and positive in all interactions
- Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills
- Knowledge of lean operations with experience supporting or leading meaningful lean initiatives in a manufacturing environment
- 5-10 years of experience in an operational role such as Quality, Reliability, Test, Manufacturing Engineering, or Manufacturing
- 3-5 years of leadership experience within an operations environment
- years of experience with Lean methodologies and / or Six Sigma
- Crossfunctional leadership experience
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Strong root cause analysis skills
- Solid computer proficiency and analytical ability
