Instructional Aide (Per Diem) School-Based Support | Blue Springs, MO

Seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to provide one-on-one and small group support to students in a structured school environment. These per diem, as-needed positions offer flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic, behavioral, and social development.

Location:

• Blue Springs, Missouri (school setting)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students individually or in small groups
• Support students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment aligned with school policies

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current TB test in compliance with district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Hold or willing to obtain educator certification and clearances prior to start
• Preferred: experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Preferred: experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications are a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and able to work collaboratively with school staff and students
