Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position requiring PCU and Med / Surg competency and a valid TN or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting

Patient ratios may be up to 1 : 7 when floated to Med / Surg

Rotating weekends required

Night shifts, with options for either three or four 12-hour shifts per week (18 : 30–07 : 00)

No on-call responsibilities

Floating to Med / Surg required

Participation in nursing student support and clinical education is required in addition to clinical care duties

General orientation begins on Sundays, which includes online learning modules

Dress code and additional onboarding details will be provided prior to start

\n \n Requirements\n

Active TN or compact state RN license required at the time of consideration

Minimum of 1 year of experience required

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Must demonstrate competency in both PCU and Med / Surg settings

Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

First-time travelers are accepted
