Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Provider Coding Specialist who will analyze and assign medical codes for surgical patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes

Review and resolve coding edits, denials, and ensure accurate reimbursement

Collaborate with healthcare teams to clarify documentation and provide coding education

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required

2+ years of abstract coding for physician services required

Minimum of four years of healthcare experience with three years in professional coding for Orthopedics or OB / GYN required

Experience working remotely preferred

Relevant coding certification from AHIMA required
