Job Description
This role involves working on custom automated equipment, primarily for the automotive industry. Utilizing FEA, GD&T, and 3D CAD, the engineer will collaborate with customers to concept, design, and test complex machines. The position requires working with both mechanical and electrical equipment, including gearboxes, electric motors, and load cells. Additionally, the engineer will support manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring that timelines are met and making necessary design changes.

Work Environment
The position is onsite, primarily involving computer-based design work. The engineer will also be required to visit the manufacturing floor daily to ensure projects are running smoothly. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $50.00/hr.
