Neurology Physician

Accepting new graduate candidates through 2025 - TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility and working toward Board Certification within 4 years Desired start date : ASAP. Replacement position, high demand and only one existing neurosurgeon Must be Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible through the ABNS Schedule : 2 days in clinic, 2 days in OR, 1 flex day. Clinic : Average 8 to 12 patients per day, with additional patients from 3-4 PAs. ER call : 7 days per month, with imaging review from home and minimal in-person requirements. Very hit or miss - in general the surgeon does not have to go in. They look at images from home and let them know whether or not to admit the patient. Floor calls go to PAs. Call coverage : Likely one weekend per month. Practice setting : Inpatient, outpatient, clinic. Facility Trauma Level : 3. General Neurosurgery position with the opportunity to build a strong elective spine practice in an underserved community.
