Title - Patient Care Technician

Location - Portland, OR 97218

Shift - Mid 4x8-Hour (14 : 00 - 22 : 30)

Contract - 13 weeks

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Shift : 5 x 8hr; Wednesday - Sunday EVEs
  • Ratios : 1 : 15-25
  • Years of Experience REQ : 1 year of prior experience working with seniors required
  • First-Timers Accepted : No
  • Weekend REQ : Every weekend
  • Certs REQ : BCLS
  • Is On-Call REQ? : No
  • Will this traveler need to float between like units? : No
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? : Yes
  • Locals Accepted : Yes; Considered "local" within 50 mile radius, will accept locals at the same rate
  • Pending License Accepted :
  • No License is required for this role
  • RTO Restrictions : Confirm with hiring manager
  • Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)

Special Requirements

  • Traveler is expected to have reliable transportation and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation.
  • QuickMAR experience preferred but not required

    • Daily Responsibilities

  • Assists as needed in providing or assisting geriatric participants / residents with personal care including but not limited to : bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming with minimal support and supervision.
  • Schedules and coordinates tasks to be performed by other PCTs, in cooperation with other housing and clinic staff.
  • Participates in participant / resident orientation to the ElderPlace facility
  • Provides input and information for service / care plans
