Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Columbus, Ohio 43210

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Healthcare Setting : Level 1 Trauma Center, 18-bed Operating Room

Start Date : January 26, 2026

End Date : April 27, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shifts : Day / Evening shifts (8, 10, and 12-hour shifts between 06 : 30 – 23 : 30)

Hours per Week : 40

Call Hours : M-F 21 : 00-06 : 30; Sat / Sun 06 : 30-19 : 00 and 19 : 00-06 : 30

Patient Population : Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Surgical Procedures Per Day : 45-50

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

Level 1 Trauma Center and extensive scrub experience required

Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license)

BCLS certification

EPIC charting experience

Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Ability to float to different units as needed

Two professional references (one from a manager / director or leadership role)

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Preferred : Experience with ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care during surgical procedures : General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant

Circulate and scrub, focusing on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases

Collaborate with the surgical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC

Participate in scheduled call coverage

Float to other units within the organization as needed
