Duration: 3 to 6 months Contract

Shift: 2nd Shift, Wednesday - Sunday, 2PM to 10:30PM

Compensation: $23.99/hr. on 1099 without benefits

Position Overview:

The City of Colorado Springs is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Service Worker to join our team at the Colorado Springs Airport. This position will primarily focus on janitorial and custodial duties, with a specific emphasis on maintaining cleanliness in the secured/sterile/concourse area restrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Janitorial and custodial duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met and maintained in restrooms located within the secured/sterile/concourse area.
• Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor restroom supplies and promptly replenish as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage cleaning operations.
• Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
