Mechanical CAD Designer

Responsibilities:

- Create detailed 2D and/or 3D CAD drawings and models using SolidWorks or AutoCAD, for stainless steel sheet metal casework (cabinets, counters, sinks), lab tables and other similar equipment.

- Collaborate with sales staff to develop and modify designs for projects

- Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings.

- Engage with fabrication team to improve, modify, or make corrections to drawings.

- Assist in the development of prototypes for R & D

- Maintain CAD files and documentation in an organized manner.

Experience:

- Past Experience in Commercial Kitchen Equipment or Proficiency in Sheet Metal and/or Casework is a Plus

- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor.

- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting techniques.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within a family oriented, team environment
