The role youâ€ll contribute:
Under general supervision, the Lactation Consultant supports the breastfeeding mother and baby at AdventHealth, its satellite locations, and in the community. The Lactation Consultant teaches breastfeeding classes, makes rounds on the maternity units, provides a telephone helpline, and offers private consultations and breastfeeding products ( pumps, bras) in a retail store. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
