Instructor for Dialysis Technician Program (PT)

We are seeking a Part time Instructor to teach Didactic and clinical skills for the Dialysis Technician Program. Courses includes clinical hours in a local dialysis center.

This is a part-time, hourly position.

Example of Duties:

• Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College's academic calendar and approved syllabi
• Meet all scheduled class sessions of semester calendar
• Maintain and report accurate student grade and attendance records using approved procedures and systems
• Utilize the appropriate technology, including the College's student learning platform, to fulfill teaching duties

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with AAS
• BSN or Master's Degree in Health Care field preferred
• Current NJ RN license
• National certification in Dialysis Nursing preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Dialysis Nursing
• College-level teaching experience preferred, community college preferred
• Experience in distant learning modalities preferred
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred

Supplemental Information

Program courses run in Fall and Spring semesters. Clinical course runs in Spring semester. Course and clinical hours are offered per program needs.

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation: The hourly pay for this position is $40-$50.
