Job description
Our client has an opening for a Technical Support Representative/Network Support Via Phone, providing technical and network problem resolutions to Dealers by performing question-based diagnosis while guiding users through step-by step processes. The position requires interaction with clients via telephone and email, clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner.
Candidates Must
- Knowledge of Ethernet Networks (more network knowledge is an asset)
- Proper phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately in English
- Demonstrated proficiency in typing and grammar in English
- Knowledge of relevant electronic circuitry and software
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Effective listening skills
- Willingness to co-operate with others and work to the greater good
- Multi-tasking capabilities
- Instruct customers on required network configuration for successful deployment.
- Can pass a basic Ethernet network knowledge test as part of the interview process
- Be comfortable working with Microsoft Operating systems and Microsoft Office Software
- Be able to attend, complete and pass an in house factory training on proprietary telecommunications equipment/software during the probationary period.
