[job_card.job_description]Manage and reconcile student billing, tuition accounts, and online payment platforms, ensuring accurate recording in the general ledger. Serve as the primary contact for student account inquiries, resolving billing issues and assisting with payment plans and collections. Perform account reconciliations, including bank, prepaid, and receivable accounts, and calculate year-end allowances for doubtful accounts. Prepare and record payroll, deposits, and miscellaneous payments; maintain vendor profiles and oversee petty cash. Support month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and financial reporting in coordination with the Controller. Assist with credit card transaction recording and ensure proper documentation for all business office financial activities. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. Approximately 3-5 years' experience Positive, energetic and ready to work with team to accomplish tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills. Basic knowledge of accounting theory and business Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize work Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Arrowhead Talent Solutions is assisting a private school in Cleveland with their search to find a General Accountant to join their outstanding staff. This role is primarily responsible for maintaining an accurate and timely billing and collection process, completing month-end closing responsibilities and account reconciliations.
- Salary range $55k - $65k / yr
- This is a hybrid role with excellent benefits and compensation package
