Job Description:
Do you excel in ensuring the seamless operation of critical systems, specifically focusing on developing, implementing, and continually managing a data governance framework? This role establishes standards and provides guidance for safeguarding, storing, retaining, utilizing, and complying with data-related regulations.
Additionally, you'll contribute to researching the ideal data governance tools for data cataloging, maintenance of data governance related policies/standards/procedures, process monitoring, control implementation, and promoting best practices in data management.
Skillset / Experience: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, operations research, information systems, engineering, economics, or equivalent work experience supporting data governance technology processes.
- Level II: Three () years' experience in similar data analysis focused on data governance or data quality management role utilizing data management tools such as Informatica, SAS, SQL, and other similar tools.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, collaboration, written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience as a "team player” with strong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across and at all levels within the organization.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required to assess effectiveness of data management practices in both simple and complex business processes.
- Applicable knowledge of data governance frameworks or similar frameworks as a practice (, data lifecycle management, data types, data lineage, data methodologies, data retention, data analytics and reporting, data protections, etc.)
- Written documentation skills applicable to policies, processes, procedures.
- Knowledge of data analytics and data analytics tools (, SQL, SAP BI, Power BI, Toad, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to consume technical concepts and translate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Self-starter who can create, facilitate new concepts, engage in multiple initiatives, and interact with a diverse group of stakeholders across the company with minimal oversight.

- Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while handling multiple priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- General understanding of industry compliance requirements.
Preferred: - Experience with cloud and on-prem data systems.
- Hands-on experience with data-related tool implementations.
- Experience with automation of data governance processes (, metadata harvesting, workflow approval, reporting).
- Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and data protection strategies.
