ICU Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Boise, Idaho (83712), with assignments in Meridian and Nampa

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date : January 12, 2026

End Date : April 13, 2026

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), weekends as needed

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Setting : Acute care, ICU Float Pool

Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Idaho or compact state)

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required

Previous travel nurse experience preferred

Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC

Ability to float between ICU units at Boise, Meridian, and Nampa hospitals

Proficient in titrating drips and interpreting cardiac monitors

Adaptable to floating mid-shift and supporting various critical care unit needs

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Boise, Idaho

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in ICU settings

Float between multiple ICU units and facilities as assigned, including 1 : 1 sitter assignments

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR

Titrate IV drips and manage advanced life support equipment

Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff

Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical education as required
