Job Description

If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a School setting in California, this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities :

  • Assess students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to support students' educational goals
  • Educate staff on strategies to accommodate students with speech and language challenges
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Implement interventions within the classroom setting to enhance communication
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)

Qualifications :

  • A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Ability to work effectively in a School setting
  • Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills

    • Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in a School setting
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care
