[job_card.job_description]Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of SBA loan origination experience, including prior supervisory roles. Deep knowledge of SBA loan closing procedures and relevant federal / state regulations. Strong multitasking, documentation, and organizational abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Skilled in reviewing title reports, lien searches, leases, equity injections, and acquisition documents.
As a Loan Closing Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing, documentation, and closing of SBA 7(a), SBA 504, and Commercial loans. This includes ensuring full compliance with all Bank policies and SBA regulations, while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness throughout the loan lifecycle.
Responsibilities :
- Manage both SBA and Commercial loans pipeline from start to finish, ensuring full compliance with SBA SOPs and bank policies.
- Verify and document all loan conditions, including insurance, collateral, entity formation, and equity requirements.
- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate loan documentation and handle any necessary modifications during closing.
- Coordinate with legal teams, third-party vendors, and borrowers to gather and prepare all closing requirements.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure smooth closings.
- Meet all deadlines while adhering to SBA, bank, state, and federal regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues related to loan documentation before and after closing.
