We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Diagnostics Software Engineer to design develop test and integrate software solutions for the Patriot Air Defense System. This role involves end-to-end software development from requirements analysis to testing and integration to ensure the effective maintenance and reliability of the Patriot system. As part of a multidisciplinary team you will play a key role in developing innovative solutions for fault detection system health monitoring and maintenance planning.

This position involves working onsite in software development and lab environments with opportunities to test and integrate systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Occasional travel may be required to support system testing and field integration activities.

What You Will Do

• Perform requirements analysis to define software features and functionality in alignment with system needs.
• Design develop and maintain non-real-time diagnostic software for Patriot system maintenance.
• Execute and document software testing including unit testing integration testing and validation to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Document software designs development processes and test results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with software development standards security protocols and industry regulations.
• Travel and off hours testing (2nd or 3rd shift) may occasionally be required.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
