A Day in the Life

The Surgical Portfolio of the organization strives to enable earlier diagnosis better treatment faster complication-free recovery and enhanced patient outcomes through less-invasive surgical solutions.

In this role you will partner with other members of the Health Economics Policy & Reimbursement (HEPR) team as well as other business colleagues across the Surgical operating unit to develop data-driven resources to support patient access.

The Health Economics Analyst will be skilled in structuring data for analysis building repeatable reporting workflows and visualizing key insights in tools such as Excel Power BI and other value communication platforms.

The ideal candidate has experience with US healthcare data analytics including U.S. healthcare coding (HCPCS / CPT ICD-10) and Medicare payment systems; they are interested in value analysis to drive commercialization and adoption of key products.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Consolidate and organize data from multiple sources into a structured relational data model
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards and interactive reports in Power BI (or equivalent BI tools).
• Translate and adapt Excel-based economic models into customer value communication software ensuring model logic calculations and assumptions are accurately represented.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and visual reports.
• Provide training or guidance to business users on how to navigate dashboards and interpret outputs.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $78400.00 - $117600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification / education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
