About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Global Sourcing to spearhead its procurement and supply chain activities on an international scale. The successful candidate will be tasked with the development and execution of sourcing strategies that not only optimize costs but also enhance supplier performance and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable supplies across global operations. This executive will be responsible for building and expanding the international vendor network, particularly in emerging markets, and aligning sourcing strategies with the company's broader organizational goals. Key responsibilities include strategic sourcing leadership, supplier and partner engagement, operational and financial impact, project and team leadership, market intelligence, and risk management. Applicants for the Vice President of Global Sourcing role at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and have a minimum of 15 years' professional experience in sourcing, manufacturing, supplier quality, or engineering, with at least 10 years in a leadership sourcing role. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in driving impactful sourcing strategies, managing global manufacturing relationships, and a deep understanding of international labor regulatory standards and supplier performance frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills, strong financial and business acumen, and a data-driven, KPI-led leadership approach. Experience with ERP and procurement systems, as well as the ability to manage multi-country teams and vendors across time zones, is essential. A Master's degree or other advanced degree, along with Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications, is preferred.
