We are seeking an analytical and detail-driven Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and manufacturing reporting across our operations. This role is systems- and data-focused, playing a key role in Manufacturing Order (MO) reporting, ERP transactions, inventory auditing, and root-cause analysis.
This position is not a physical inventory counting role. Instead, it focuses on analyzing inventory movement, ensuring data integrity, and partnering cross-functionally to support production, planning, purchasing, and quality initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Perform daily Manufacturing Order (MO) reporting, ensuring accurate material usage and production reporting within the ERP systemProcess inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and donationsAnalyze inventory discrepancies, investigate root causes, and support corrective actionsPrepare and maintain inventory and manufacturing reports using ERP data and advanced Excel (formulas, pivots)Support inventory cycle count setup and analysis (physical counts performed by the warehouse team)Conduct inbound quality verification audits, reviewing documentation, quantities, lots, and expiration datesMaintain accurate audit trails and supporting documentation for all inventory transactionsPartner cross-functionally with Warehouse, Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Quality teamsParticipate in daily operational discussions and roundtable meetingsCross-train and support other supply chain functions as neededWhat You’ll Need
5+ years of experience in inventory control, manufacturing reporting, or ERP-driven environmentsStrong understanding of manufacturing and inventory flows (raw materials vs. finished goods)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, data analysis)Experience working within an ERP system (Great Plains preferred)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause investigation skillsHigh attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracyClear and concise verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize, adapt, and think critically in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
