MT needed ASAPDuration: 13 weeksShift: 9 hrs, 36 GWW; Mids, 3p-11:30p, weekends required**First 3 weeks are training on day shift M-F 6:30am-3pm or 7:30am-4pm depending on training section; plus 1 weekend training day**Generalist. Blood Bank, Chem, Hemo experience preferredASCP**Instrument experience for the following preferred: Beckman Chemistry, Sysmex hematology, Manual diffs, Blood bank manual testing experience, Gel crossmatch, LIS Sytem-Cerner Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a certified medical technologist. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.
