L / S Equity Analyst Opportunity at Leading Single Manager Hedge Fund in Boston (Industrials)

A premier Single Manager Hedge Fund is seeking a Long / Short Equity Analyst with ~3-5 years of experience in (PE, IB, Equity Research, LO).

You will be working under a CIO who has a proven track record of success. This individual has a passion for developing young and upcoming talent. The fund itself has an elite equities unit and values its strong culture.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct deep fundamental research and financial analysis on coverage
  • Develop and present actionable long and short investment ideas within designated coverage.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.
  • Leverage industry contacts, expert networks, and proprietary resources to build differentiated insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the Portfolio Manager and contribute ideas

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with a focus on Industrials
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and accounting skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity, high integrity, and a passion for investing.
  • Proven ability to generate differentiated insights and communicate them clearly.
