[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail or mall location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken according to company and site-specific guidelines. Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or directing individuals during incidents. Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and management to address inquiries and provide information related to security-related matters. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide reassurance to clients and visitors. An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
