About The Position

📝 Description :

  • A hospital in Fort Morgan, CO is seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN Physician for locum tenens 24-hour call coverage starting September 30, 2025, with ongoing opportunities through December 2025 and beyond. This is hospital call coverage only (no clinic), handling labor & delivery and general OB / GYN cases.

📋 Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide 24-hour OB / GYN hospital call coverage (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 AM)
  • Manage labor & delivery, emergent OB / GYN cases
  • Respond to patient call backs
  • Collaborate with RN support staff
  • Document using Epic EMR

    • ⏰ Working Hours :

  • Shift : 24-hour call (7 AM – 7 AM)

    • 💡 Skills :

  • Proficiency in Epic EMR
  • Strong OB / GYN clinical and surgical skills
  • Effective communication and decision-making in emergent situations
  • Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

    Job Requirements

    🎓 Qualifications :

  • Board-Certified OB / GYN – Required
  • Active Colorado medical license or IMLC LOQ in hand – Required
  • BLS and DEA – Active and required for credentialing
  • Clean malpractice and background history
  • Completion of EMR (Epic) module & virtual training prior to start
  • Willingness to commit to listed and future shift dates
