Job Title : Experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Inspector for our first shift. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest quality standards in our products, using their expertise in quality control and inspection.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, comparators, and surface layouts.

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications with a solid understanding of GD&T.

Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

Utilize experience with AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), PPAP, PFMEA, and related aerospace industry standards.

Document first articles using Net Inspect and Discus.

Engage in quality control processes with a positive attitude and self-motivation.

Essential Skills

At least 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in industries such as aerospace, automotive, or medical device.

Proficiency in standard inspection equipment and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to program and run CMM.

Understanding and interpretation of GD&T and engineering drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

AS9102 (FAI) and Discus experience is highly preferred.

Experience with Jobboss MRP system is preferred.

Experience with first article documentation using Net Inspect and Discus.

Work Environment

The Quality Inspector will work in an enclosed inspection area, equipped with all necessary tools. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00 / hr.
