About the Position

LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice PA in Arizona!

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona. This opportunity starts on Dec 29, 2025, and features a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts from 8am to 5pm. The assignment involves working in an outpatient primary care clinic located within a hospital, providing care to patients with chronic conditions, including diabetes.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Manage chronic care cases, with a focus on diabetes management
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to deliver coordinated patient care
  • Document patient encounters using the RPMS EMR system
  • Participate in care planning and follow-up for ongoing patient needs
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards of care

    • Additional Information

  • Minimum 2 years of chronic care experience required
  • Experience with diabetes management is important
  • Indian Health Service (IHS) experience preferred but not required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
  • Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) required
