Inside Sales Bilingual Spanish/English

About the Role We are a family-owned Metal Service Center specializing in Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum products, serving the industry since 1955.We are looking for ambitious, results-driven individuals to join our team.

No prior industry experience is necessary. However, because this role relies heavily on interaction, we strongly prefer candidates with a background in positions that required direct customer communication. We are looking for engaging communicators rather than solitary workers.

We invest in your success with an initial training program, but successful candidates must be self-motivated learners. Our training environment is hands-on and requires you to take ownership of your developmenttaking the foundation we provide and actively continuing your own education to master the details.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Service: Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers via phone and in-person.
• Lead Generation: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails.
• Account Management: Build rapport with clients, resolve customer inquiries/complaints, and uphold company goals using customer service best practices.
• Strategic Planning: Identify customer buying trends, research prospect backgrounds, and provide reports to management.
• Target Achievement: Consistently reach and exceed agreed-upon sales targets by deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in customer-facing roles is highly preferred to demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation abilities.
• Math Skills: Ability to quickly calculate figures such as discounts, percentages, fractions, decimals, and square footage.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Touch-typing skills are required (must be able to type efficiently without looking at the keyboard) to maintain workflow speed.
  
• Language: Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  
• Requirements: Valid Drivers License.
  
• Education: College degree a plus, but not required.
  
  

Schedule

• Standard Hours: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Weekend Availability: Rotating shifts for Saturdays (8:00 AM 12:00 PM)
• Note: Schedules rotate to maintain a standard 40-hour work week.
