Urgent Care LVN Compensation
The pay for this position is $37.17 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service
Urgent Care LVN Highlights
This position is a contingent / temporary assignment with potential to convert to permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs
The required availability includes every other weekend and some major holidays
Floating to nearby clinic locations may be required
Urgent Care LVN Responsibilities
Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements
Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care in collaboration with the provider on site
Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
Assist with wait room management, patient outreach, appointment scheduling, and chaperoning sensitive exams
Prepare the clinic and waiting space to ensure an optimal patient experience
Support the mission to provide excellent, patient-focused care
Urgent Care LVN Requirements
Must have a full, active, and unrestricted LVN / LPN license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
Graduate of an accredited school of Practical or Vocational Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings
Experience administering immunizations and injections, and documenting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Urgent Care LVN Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room environments
Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems
Mandatory Requirements for the First 3 Weeks
Attendance is required for initial training and orientation, typically averaging 65 hours over 2 weeks
