Job Title : Clinical Director, Supervised Release

Job Summary :

CASES is a New York City non-profit organization at the forefront of alternative to incarceration programs and comprehensive services for criminal justice-involved populations. The Clinical Director is responsible for oversight and leadership of all clinical aspects of the Pretrial Services Department including staff training and development. We are seeking a seasoned mission-driven clinician with proven leadership, direct-service and supervision skills to assist our staff in delivering services to the highest standards of a court-based social service program.

CASES is seeking a Clinical Director who will provide leadership in staff learning and development with a particular emphasis on evidence-based practices and interventions that are appropriate for the varied populations the program serves including; youth, individuals with current or past criminal justice involvement, and individuals with a wide range of behavioral health needs. The Clinical Director will assist staff in utilizing approaches rooted in Trauma-informed Care, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within a court mandated setting. The position will require educating, mentoring, and inspiring multi-disciplinary staff across the Pretrial Service Department’s four program sites. As part of the Pretrial Leadership Team, the Clinical Director will work closely with other senior managers in the department to ensure staff receive training, clinical supervision as well as ongoing guidance and support to assist in making progress with the most vulnerable individuals we serve.

Salary : The salary for the Clinical Director role is $90,000 - $100,000 per year.

Shift Hours : The Clinical Director, Supervised Release position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.

Workplace Flexibility :   Hybrid, Applicant will have one remote day per week after successfully completing the orientation period.

What you will be doing :

• Develop and implement of evidence-based approaches within the department, including the coordination of new initiatives designed to improve services to participants and the work quality of direct service staff
• Collaborate with site managers in facilitating clinical group meetings and consultation sessions to support positive outcomes for participants
• Directly supervise the work of the Training Coordinator and serve as a mentor to staff needing clinical supervision for professional and career development
• Coach and develop staff’s practice skills by providing live and virtual trainings on a variety of topics such as assessment, documentation, risk management and other areas
• Consult and collaborate with other members of the Leadership team to plan and refine clinical aspects of the program and enhance the overall participant experience
• Help ensure we maintain a safe working environment by reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions, e.g., liquid spill in hallway, to the appropriate facilities staff member or supervisor
• Serve as a liaison to the Quality, Data & Analytics and Evaluation units as well as other external entities to coordinate responses to emerging trends and update stakeholders on the performance of the program
