About the role : We are seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to support magniX’s groundbreaking electric propulsion programs. In this role, you will identify and engage world-class suppliers, ensure technical compliance, and serve as a key interface between internal teams and external partners. Your work will directly impact quality, cost, and delivery performance across our supply chain.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Supplier Engagement : Lead identification, technical assessment, and onboarding of suppliers for electric motors, power electronics, and battery energy storage systems, ensuring alignment with magniX design requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Program teams to resolve component quality and delivery issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Capability Assessment : Conduct in-depth technical evaluations of supplier processes and capabilities to meet magniX timelines and quality standards.
• Process Optimization : Partner with suppliers to implement cost-effective improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Data Analysis & Reporting : Track and analyze technical, delivery, and quality metrics, providing timely reports to support senior management decision-making.
• Risk Management : Develop and maintain supplier evaluation systems, ensure compliance with product and process standards, and drive corrective actions when needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range : $95-$130k
