Junior Staff Accountant

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join our dedicated and dynamic team. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations including cashier audits, deposits, reconciliations, vendor statement resolution, reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies. What you will do :

• Manage House Banks, including issuance, balancing, audits, deposits, petty cash disbursements, and accurate record-keeping.
• Process and reconcile cashier deposits, foreign currencies, vendor statements, payments, and accruals, resolving discrepancies directly with vendors.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports, including the Daily Cash Report, month-end reports, and required journal entries.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date files for bank contracts, accounts payable, operating equipment, and capital purchases.
• Oversee accounting operations in the absence of leadership, ensuring all service activities and financial safeguards are in place.
• Maintain professional relationships, uphold Four Seasons' Work Rules, and ensure compliance with local, corporate, and internal control policies.
• Support additional accounting functions as assigned, providing assistance across the department to ensure smooth operations.
