Credit Analyst

divh2Job Title / h2pThis individual will be responsible for offering superior service to our customers and field staff. In addition, this individual will be accountable for making credit decisions using good judgment and following prescribed guidelines. Specific duties include : / pp Responsible to process customer applications for parts, service, and rental business requests to establish a credit limit or deny credit. / pp Gather and analyze credit information from sales staff, customer credit application, financial information, etc. / pp Obtain credit bureau, business credit and bank references. / pp Contact customer if additional insight or information is needed. / pp Summarize all credit information and document. Make recommendation to supervisor if outside credit limit authority. / pp Monitor and review reports within business system to identify and reduce risk for the organization. / pp Initiate contact with AR staff to ensure customer payments are requested to keep account in good standing. / pp Communicate with store management on a wide variety of credit request issues and recommendations. / pp Interact effectively with team members and members of other teams. / pp Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. / pp Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. / pp Foster a great place to work environment within the location / s, encouraging accountability, open communication, teamwork, and a commitment to serving the customer. / pp Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. / pp Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set. / pp Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner. / ppJob requirements : / pp Minimum of 2 years of experience making credit decisions in an analyst role. / pp Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent work experience. / pp Excellent verbal and written communication skills. / pp Professional telephone etiquette. / pp Must be detail orientated, self-motivated and have ability to multi-task. / pp Ability to excel in team environment and individually. / pp Proven record of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. / pp Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel. / pp Limited travel required. / pp Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship. / ppEqual Opportunity Employer / Protected Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities / ppThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
